The Healthy People Project inspired by Surgeon General Julius Richmond's paper Healthy People was the first report who's focus is Health Promotion & Disease Prevention.

. 

The Healthy Pet Project & The Healthy Home Project campaigns followed. 


The Healthy Home Project includes soil health inspired by Dr Elaine Ingham's.work in soil health education. The Soil Biology Primer has been used by the USDA,  Farmers & consumer wanting to understand & implement soil health practices.

 

The Healthy Pet Project focus is in prevention of unwanted litters. Working with veterinary professionals & scientists on a birth control that is not the traditional methods that have behavioral and health outcomes..

A female dog can have up to 3 litters in a year; average litter size 7 puppies. That means, 1 female & her puppies can create 67,000 puppies over 6 years time. 

These unplanned litters of dogs & cats are a significant source of animals entering the shelter system, & there are just not enough homes for all them currently in our country. Tha

The Healthy Pet Project's takes a comprehensive approach to providing spay & neuter services in communities that include those underserved communities in Southern California. seeking collaborations with like minded nonprofits. Support research for a safe and effective one shot approved by the FDA for neutering by 2029.

Your support enables our work that a birth control used in Zoo's to be approved for distribution to US Veterinarians, Education and accessibility directly in the highest-need communities in southern California who's shelters are & exceed capacity. We collaborate with local and non profits, governmental agencies & veterinarians to provide veterinary birth control care, and education services.

The Healthy Pet Project's main focus is our pet population & education . We envision Mutt-I-Grees in every School District in the State of California by 2025. The social & emotional well being of students is more important than ever. 


The Mutt-I-Grees Curriculum is an innovative Pre-K-  12th grade social emotional learning program designed to develop empathy, resiliency, & an awareness of oneself & others, creating a more humane future.
